Chess for Beginners and Advanced

Discover and learn the game of Chess from the experts! Chess helps improve concentration and memory, increases creativity and problem solving skills, and teaches foresight and strategic planning. Small group classes will be held in-person by highly qualified coaches from HubzStar Chess.

HubzStar Chess Center was established year 2019 by our Head Coach, FA Hubert Estrella. Coach Hubert is a Fide Arbiter (International Licensed), Team Manager, and Head Coach of San Juan Predators, one of the leading teams in the Professional Chess League – PCAP). He is also the Head Coach of Chiang Kai Shek College, and Assistant Coach at MGC New Life Christian Academy. He also organizes different chess tournaments and events. 

This class is for children ages 5 -14 years old. Players will be categorized into Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced levels based on Coach’s assessment.

Two class types available:

1. Single session or trial session
2. 10-session package (max of 4 students/ coach) 

TRIAL CLASS will be on May 16 and 23, Tuesday at 5:30pm
